It is a naturally dual color gemstone that combines the regal purple of Amethyst and the golden glow of Citrine in a single crystal. This is rare variety of quartz, and almost all natural Ametrine comes from a single location: the Anahí Mine in Bolivia.  Its hardness is 7 on the Mohs scale, making it a durable gemstone and perfect for daily use jewelry like rings, bracelets, and necklaces.
